LCU options artwork exhibit, sale

The Division of Visible Artwork at Lubbock Christian College is holding an art show and artwork sale. The show and sale consist of numerous will work of artwork that are past holdings of the college that have been specified to be sold, according to a news release from the college.

Lubbock Christian University is selling 13 paintings, with appraised values ranging from $450 up to $19,000.

Proceeds from the sale will reward the LCU art application.

“The lifted money will target scholar scholarships, as nicely as desired facility and machines advancements to greatly enhance pupil activities and studying. The Artwork Division is seeking forward to increasing place for studio lessons and senior studios, to accommodate wants for greater enrollment and diploma specialization,” said Ronelle Howell, who serves as an assistant professor and the application coordinator for Visual Arts in the Conversation/Fine Arts Department at LCU.

LCU's art sale is ongoing through Oct. 1, with the paintings available for viewing in the Ling Center for Academic Achievement (CAA), Gallery 2.

There are 13 paintings for sale, with appraised values ranging from $450 up to $19,000.

“The exhibit and sale incorporate some interesting items that will attractiveness to a range of interests. Any sensible provides will be regarded for the artwork, as listed values are only appraisals,” Howell claimed.

In addition to the Art for Art’s Sale exhibit, there are numerous pupil artwork exhibits going on con-currently in the LCU Art Studio Gallery, the Pioneer Gallery in the College Library, and Center for Academic Accomplishment (CAA) Gallery 1.
