Kingsport Artwork Guild has issued a contact for entries for the 55th Appalachian Artwork Display — a juried display that includes great artwork from the Appalachian Area.
Artists ages 16 and more mature are invited to post work completed in the previous two a long time for the juried exhibit and show. The artwork need to be the artist’s individual primary composition and meet up with necessities of the contest. Jurors for the 2021 contest will be Laken Bridges and Annamarie Buchanan.
Bridges is an artist-educator residing in Northeast Tennessee. She engages a multi-media studio apply that involves printmaking, e book arts, drawing, delicate sculpture, set up, and digital photography. Her investigation prioritizes an examination of social concerns relating to course, gender and race. She has exhibited perform in solo, juried and invitational shows at the two a nationwide and intercontinental level.
