Ackland Art Museum debuts exhibit on artist Aaron Douglas, ‘Modern Black Culture’

Allison Portnow Lathrop, head of community plans at the Ackland, inspired UNC college students and the bigger Chapel Hill neighborhood to quit by to working experience the exhibit.

Portnow Lathrop said she is energized for the “God’s Trombones” performances.
