Art Center Sarasota presents ‘Here Will come the Sun’ July 23 to Aug. 20

Savannah Magnolia, the Kennedy Center’s 2020 VSA Emerging Artists Award winner and a Ringling College of Art and Design grad, is the juror for Art Center Sarasota's upcoming “Here Comes the Sun” exhibition.

Art Heart Sarasota’s 2021 exhibition year proceeds with “Here Comes the Sunshine,” a juried exhibition showcasing regional artists from July 23 to Aug. 20.

A connect with for artists to post perform in all mediums is ongoing by means of July 4 at artcentersarasota.org. An opening reception is scheduled on July 23 from 6-8 p.m.

The juror is Tampa-based mostly artist Savannah Magnolia, who won the Kennedy Center’s 2020 VSA Emerging Artists Award. Magnolia graduated from Ringling School of Art and Design.

“By staging this exhibition in the summer months, we’re ready to build cultural options for visitors and year-spherical people all through a time when there are fewer arts and cultural gatherings happening in our area,” explained Andrew Extended, Art Middle Sarasota’s exhibition coordinator.

Artists may submit up to three performs for jurying. All acknowledged work will be on exhibit and for sale at the middle, 707 N. Tamiami Path, Sarasota.
