Constructed in 1942 as a schoolhouse, the facility was ordered by the town in 1992 to use as a residence for the arts. Now the Crimson Brick Center for the Arts is a neighborhood arts middle and gallery, home to 9 nearby nonprofits, 12 artists in home (who market their perform from their studios), a dance studio and convention home.
