Opened as the “Aspen Centre for the Visual Arts” in 1979, the museum was officially accredited as the Aspen Art Museum (AAM) in 1984. The AAM is an admission-cost-free, globally engaged modern day artwork museum with local community, schooling and member courses that present at any time- changing onsite and online exhibitions, workshops and situations.
