Artwork of 7 Chitkara varsity artists tends to make it to Tokyo Olympics : The Tribune India

Chandigarh, July 22

Artwork of seven artists, which include scholars, pupils and faculty customers, of Chitkara University has been picked for the digital artwork exhibit, “Olympia”, initiated by the Indian Modern Artist Affiliation. The operates will be exhibited during Tokyo Olympics 2021.

The artwork show’s reel online video will be shown at the Tokyo Olympics Memorial Gallery, Chuo-ku, Japan, from July 23 to August 8. Of the complete 52 picked members, 7 are from Chitkara University.

Piyush Anand and Diksha Raghav from BFA, Painting, painted “The Winner” and “Moods of Glory”, respectively, in blended media. Alisha Sharma, a PhD analysis scholar, Art & Style, painted “Olympic” working with watercolour. Abhijit Kumar Mohanty and Rakesh Kumar Chaudhary, also PhD study scholars, Art & Style, manufactured “Light of Hope” and “Running for Glory” using the electronic medium. School member Dr Arjun Kumar Singh painted “The Runner” employing charcoal as the medium.

Generation of Prof Ranjan Kumar Malik, Dean of Chitkara Layout University, “Me & My Olympic 2021”, was also chosen. It was created on electronic medium.

“The artworks are humble contribution from Chitkara University to motivate athletes who will be collaborating in the Olympics,” stated Malik.
