Artwork wander entries for Wings of Hope due June 4

Cancer Assistance Group Delaware’s 11th Yearly Wings of Hope event is established for 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, June 19, at Stango Park in Lewes.

It is highlighted by the release of gorgeous monarch butterflies in recognition of family, good friends, and neighbors during Sussex County and Delaware whose life have been impacted by cancer.

New to this year’s event will be an art stroll. CSCDE is calling fluttering artists of all ages to submit butterfly-inspired artwork to show all through the park. Art kinds this kind of as paintings, pottery, sculpture, textiles, antiques and images will all be acknowledged. Submissions are thanks by Friday, June 4.

The Wings of Hope setting up committee customers will find the parts to display. All registrants will have their visuals showcased on the site, because house may be constrained at the party. All submitting artists will acquire an party T-shirt. The entry charge is $10. Pupil entry charges will be waived.

This celebration of life ceremony will be open up to the public and is a no cost local community celebration held June 19 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Protected loved ones-friendly things to do, demonstrations and a prospect auction will also be taking place through the early morning.
