HANNIBAL — Right after remaining cancelled twice since 2020, the Hannibal Arts Council’s inventive fundraiser, Poor Artwork by Excellent People today, is again on for 2021.
Will work of art developed by 15 space neighborhood leaders who were being paired with 15 artists/mentors will be auctioned off on Friday, Sept. 10 at Finn’s Meals & Spirits. Commencing at 7 p.m., attendees could look at the artwork for sale, appreciate hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar and vote for their beloved work of art with their pounds in the People’s Alternative contest. The art auction will begin at 8 p.m.
