May 8 (UPI) — Country tunes star Mickey Gilley has died right after a short disease in Branson, Mo. He was 86.

“He passed peacefully with his relatives and near friends by his aspect,” said an obituary posted on his verified Facebook page.

The result in of his dying Saturday has not been disclosed to the general public.

“We are saddened to listen to the news of Mickey Gilley’s passing. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to his loved ones and beloved kinds in the course of this challenging time,” the State Audio Association tweeted.

Gilley is survived by his wife Cindy Loeb Gilley his young children Kathy, Michael, Gregory and Keith Ray 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren
