
The 10th Annual Cowboy Art & Society show opens at the Bridwell Ag Heart in Wichita Falls this weekend.
The event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. Friday featuring cowboy artwork and handcrafted gear from 40 countrywide artists. Paintings, drawings, images, sculpture, bits, spurs, jewellery, trappings, woodworking and a lot more will be on display.
Strolling fiddlers will engage in as complimentary beans and cornbread will be presented by HX Chuck Wagon
The evening also features the Artist Awards presentation and a silent auction in-particular person and on the net
Saturday is a total day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is no cost to the general public with the artists booths open all over again together with group contest exhibits of youth artwork, poetry and images.
Kids and household things to do involve horse rides by Whispers of Hope Horse Farm, cattle camp roping by Wichita Falls Area Cattlewomen and Longhorns from the Fort Griffin Historic Affiliation.
Night events beginning at 5:30 p.m. consist of Chuckwagon Rooster Fried Steak meal with all the fixin’s by the HX Chuck Wagon, the artist awards presentation and displays by the Vernon Palomino Club, Overlook Devon & The Outlaw and cowgirl poet Teresa Burleson.
Tickets for the Saturday evening activities are $75 for every person and are offered at artscouncilwf.org.

The mission of Cowboy Real, sponsored by Arts Council WF, is to educate the area about the honor, artwork and beauty of a cowboy’s day-to-day daily life. It supports The Discussion board and Whispers of Hope Horse Farm.
