Denver society and artwork organizations can faucet into $1M in grants

DENVER (KDVR) —Denver’s arts and cultural organizations, corporations and people can implement for Restart and Restoration Funding by Sept. 20 at 6 p.m.

“Denver’s arts, culture and amusement scene has been devastated by the pandemic with closures that have lasted for more than a yr,” claimed Denver Arts & Venues government director Ginger White. “Through this subsequent spherical of funding, we intend to enable the sector reopen and get back again to the organization of what it does best—bringing pleasure to the persons of Denver.”

The Denver CARES Arts & Cultural Restart and Restoration Fund supports innovative firms, corporations and impartial artists.

Programs from Denver’s various communities, these as American Indian, African American, Latino/x/e, Asian American and Pacific Islander, men and women with disabilities and LGBTQIA+ are inspired.

Grants of up to $1,000 to person artists and up to $25,000 to non- or for-profit organizations and
organizations encountering extreme financial distress will be awarded.
