Dreyfoos wins major at Regional Scholastic Artwork Awards

Royal Palm Beach Community High School student Kassidy Dunn won a Silver Key at the 2021 Palm Beach and Martin Counties Regional Scholastic Art Awards for her photographic entry titled "Powder Room."

Alexander W. Dreyfoos University of the Arts was the big winner in the 2021 Scholastic Art & Crafting Awards, a competition that bundled students from Palm Seaside and Martin counties in grades 7-12.

Dreyfoos learners won a whole of 10 awards, like the American Visions Medal by 12th-grade scholar Milan Tangirala, who is also a Gold Important winner.

Tangirala’s successful piece “Simulation” in the Movie and Animation category, was 1 of 5 works picked from roughly 2,000 submissions into the American Eyesight Award levels of competition. The award goes to college students from throughout all types and grades, selected from individuals earning Gold Keys as the “Best-of-Show” for each neighborhood software.
