The Fishers Arts & Culture Commission (FACC) announced grants totaling $43,000 to artists, creative companies, nonprofits and for-profit businesses for events, programs, displays and other artistic and cultural expressions in Fishers.
In June, the FACC launched its first grant program aimed at nurturing creative partnerships within the Fishers arts community. The Commission sought a diverse group of applications that highlight the contributions to our innovative and vibrant community. Funded projects take place within the city boundaries of Fishers and relate to two or more of the Commission’s core values: inclusive, authentic, engaging, collaborative, innovative, and educational. Funding for the grant program is allocated from the City of Fishers’ annual budget.

One of the major goals outlined in the Arts & Culture Master Plan, the hub serves as a digital community gathering space for arts and culture, with resources including a community events calendar, public art map, local arts and culture stories, artist profiles, and more information for residents to further engage with arts and culture in their community. The hub also features an artist portal where local artists find RFQ and grant opportunities, a list of local art and performance venues, and more.
