“Geometries” art exhibit at Sugar Hill Children’s Museum of Art and Storytelling encourages dialogue among children

NEW YORK – An art show on display ideal now at the Sugar Hill Kid’s Museum of Art and Storytelling aims to shape the way young children speak about society’s difficulties. “Geometries” demonstrates much more than satisfies the eye.

Artists Chris Bogia, Rico Gatson and Tariku Shiferaw might be common names to the group, but this is Marisol Martinez’s 1st museum showing.

“The hues that I selected for this exhibition was about illustration and community,” mentioned Martinez of her function entitled “The Human Collective.”

Martinez’s artwork studio offers a gentle in a globe crammed with sadness. She wishes to encourage the youngsters of the local community to discover their possess escape in the city’s landscape.

“I would assume of all the minor men and women, all the diverse ethnicities that would be inside that creating, and that is what I was wondering about when I was painting these,” Martinez claimed of her sequence on show.
