PromoWest Pavilion at Ovation, the new indoor/outdoor music venue on Newport’s riverfront, is getting ready to open. The venue’s design accommodates indoor audiences of up to 2,700, with an outdoor capacity for summer shows of up to 7,000 people.
Ovation’s opening follows that of the new Andrew J. Brady Icon Music Center, the area’s other flexible indoor/outdoor venue, which opened in July at Smale Riverfront Park in Downtown. That venue has a capacity of 4,500 indoors and 8,000 outdoors.
