Jamestown Arts Center invitations community associates of all ages to examine Mexican arts and lifestyle by, ¡Qué vivan los muertos! A Day of the Useless Workshop.  

Contributors receive a package with materials to make their own Day of the Useless challenge at household, adopted by an online performance, and an chance to share your creations as aspect of a group ofrenda, outside at the Jamestown Arts Middle.  Contributors will find out the background and traditions of the Mexican Día de los Muertos and will generate crafts at household, such as papel picados ornamental banners and cempasúchil Mexican marigold bouquets. 

The workshop charge of $15 consists of a supply package and at-property task guidelines, an on-line Día de los Muertos efficiency, and participation in an outdoor neighborhood ofrenda memorializing liked types.  Scholarships are accessible.
