“The Voyeurs is of course about voyeurism. Sort of.
I indicate, I guess it’s also about the loss of innocence.
Let us not forget that it’s also about online memes and the siren song of social media. And it is about my close friends as well… and neighbors (and maybe a couple strangers).
Oh and it’s also about puns, innuendos and phrase enjoy.
But for sure, like all my function, it can be about absurdity.
It is about obtaining ease and comfort in nostalgia but also complicated that nostalgia with the tongue-in-cheek. It is about spending the last two in addition years seeking to obtain normality. Viewing the neighboring entire world about you shut down and then slowly and gradually seeing it begin to indulge in remaining viewed yet again. A temporary glance of a thing… hell, anything at all… and then observing the blinds promptly near and the lights getting shut off. It’s flirting with the concept of flirting just one awkward wink at a time.
Most effective guess? The Voyeurs is about looking at. It is about watching. And it’s about being seen. (Binoculars not bundled.)”
