MSU alumna Debra M. Brown to become Mississippi’s initial Black female main federal choose

STARKVILLE, Skip.—Mississippi Condition alumna and U.S. District Judge Debra M. Brown is established to develop into the Magnolia State’s 1st Black female main federal decide.

She is a 1987 graduate of MSU’s Faculty of Architecture, Art and Style. Brown labored skillfully as an architect just before pursuing law school and graduating from the College of Mississippi School of Regulation in 1997.

She has served as president of the Mississippi Females Legal professionals Affiliation.
