New displays, activities, lessons emphasize summer time in the Polk Museum of Art

Polk Museum of Art at Florida Southern University has a whole program this summer season.

Exhibitions consist of non-electronic images, artwork by university small children and artists from throughout the Central Florida group sharing their impressions of the first five months of final year’s pandemic. Instructional courses are on the agenda also.

Alex Loaded, PMA government director and chief curator, suggests the museum will be “veritable artwork and artwork historic schooling headquarters” for the summer season.

“We are so excited about this summer’s exhibitions and programs, both equally due to the fact they mark the official launch of our outstanding 2021-22 period and for the reason that we are returning eventually to a extra regular museum practical experience with them,” Abundant stated by using e-mail. “Now, we see an even brighter gentle at the stop of a lengthy tunnel: we can depend more closely on in-person situations and programming, even while retaining and developing on our new profitable forays into the virtual aircraft.”
