Newport Health and fitness Equity Zone’s Arts & Lifestyle Working Group and Newport Artwork Museum get in touch with for artists and makers for Hope Tree Art Exhibition 2021

The Hope Tree Artwork Exhibition is an exhibition of artworks that share messages of hope and community and will be on see in the major green space in Newport’s North End neighborhood, Miantonomi Park, from July 9 – October 9, 2021. The Arts & Culture Working Team of the Newport Wellbeing Fairness Zone and Newport Art Museum invite persons, families, teams and corporations who are connected to the North Conclude to participate by producing an artwork to be on display in the Park for all to take pleasure in this summer months.

This short-term general public art piece seeks to lift and make visible the voices and experiences of North Stop group users. Hope Tree makers will decide on an affirming term to use as an anchoring theme for their artwork about which to create drawn, painted, sewn or glued on types on canvas. The artworks will then be wrapped around large tree trunks in Miantonomi Park, creating a route of beautiful and inspiring artworks that celebrate hope and community.
