The thirty day period-lengthy exhibit showcases landscapes, landmarks and areas alongside the lakeshore that have been impacted by the foundation.
GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — A one-of-a-kind artwork show is now underway in Grand Haven.
As part of the Grand Haven Spot Group Foundation’s 50th Anniversary, a distinctive partnership with nearby non-profits developed the Foundational Artwork Show.
The Lakeshore Visible Arts Collective and the Muskegon Museum of Artwork teamed up the basis to convey in art from more than 18 area artists.
The month-extensive exhibit showcases landscapes, landmarks and spots alongside the lakeshore that have been impacted by the foundation.
“It really is been truly unique developing this project to celebrate artwork in our local community,” said Hadley Streng, President of the Grand Haven Area Local community Basis, “and exclusively the sites that make our neighborhood so specific.”
Maggie Bandstra is the Chair of the Lakeshore Visual Arts Collective whose artists contributed to the show.
“We have a genuinely inspiring area,” Bandstra stated, “it has a whole lot of natural attractiveness and a good deal of wonderful parks that the artists appreciate to seize.”
The foundation also collaborated with the Muskegon Museum of Art to enable with the show. Artwork Martin is the museum’s Director of Collections and Exhibitions.
“All of the parts here are distinctive,” he reported, “so each and every a person of them is a little something that the artist has manufactured and if you have it, it is just yours.”
The exhibit will be open from June 22 to July 21, 2021, Monday by Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Grand Haven Local community Heart.
Entrance is free, and artwork is readily available for purchase.
And as part of its determination to supporting art in the Grand Haven Space, GHACF will be obtaining 12 pieces at the show’s completion.
