ROXBURY, NJ – Roxbury pupils Roxbury positioned in 4 of the 8 categories at a Virtual Visions exhibition of large school artwork before this 7 days.
Eleven region universities participated, every single submitting ten functions of art in 8 different classes which includes Drawing/Illustration B&W, Drawing/Illustration Colour, Portray, Pottery, Sculpture/Crafts, Blended Media/Open, Photography, and Electronic Media.

Hartford Art School also awarded Roxbury Higher University seniors Haley Lang, Alexa Hernandez and Sheryl Peng with scholarship awards in the amount of $23,000 for every calendar year for a complete four-yr award of $92,000.
“Roxbury Substantial School artwork college students represented pretty very well at all of the artwork competitions they participated in,” explained Roxbury High University Visible Arts Lead Trainer Renee Zengel. “We are so happy of the really hard do the job and dedication they all have put forth this university 12 months. It’s awesome to see the fruition and recognition of their innovative endeavors … These learners have demonstrated the results of Roxbury Significant School’s Visible Arts program.”
The works of art were being judged by Kimberly Brickley and Alaina Bailey from Moore College of Art & Style and design in Philadelphia, Roxy Ryan from Hartford Artwork University at the College of Hartford, Andrea Geller from William Paterson University, Brett Sherman from Savannah University of Art and Layout in Savannah Georgia and Jane Grannis and Lisa Westheimer from Ceramicists.
