SaMo Satisfaction Announces Return of Artwork Wander

Annual function returns June 1-30 all through downtown place

In honor of Pleasure Month, SaMo Pride has announced the return of its art stroll all over June showcasing relatives pleasant-programming

The Santa Monica Pier, Downtown Santa Monica, and Santa Monica Spot, in collaboration with the Town of Santa Monica and Santa Monica Journey and Tourism are fired up to announce the return of SaMo Pride this June. A celebration of love in each individual coloration, SaMo Delight will host “Miles of Pleasure,” a rainbow-lit art walk featuring creations by LGBTQIA+ visual artists in addition to safe and sound, household-helpful programming during the thirty day period.

The visually hanging rainbow-lit pathway will span miles of metropolis streets as a result of Third Avenue Promenade, Santa Monica Position and the Santa Monica Pier, bringing alongside one another the westside neighborhood and visitors from close to the earth. The art stroll is presented in partnership with Allies in Arts, a community nonprofit whose mission is to help girl, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ artists who are typically underrepresented in creative industries. 

For the 1st time in its heritage, SaMo Satisfaction released an open up phone for visible artists to participate in this unique challenge. Inspiring and innovative Southern California artists and artist groups have been encouraged to post proposals for thing to consider. Allies in Arts will curate the installation and pick all last artist individuals. The deadline to submit was April 19, 2021. Selected artists will be notified in early May perhaps with the exhibition premiering June 1 and functioning by way of June 30, 2021.
