SaMo Satisfaction collaborates with LGBTQ+ artists for ‘Rainbow Road Artwork Walk’

The Santa Monica Pier, Downtown Santa Monica, and Santa Monica Put, in collaboration with the Town of Santa Monica and Santa Monica Vacation and Tourism are celebrating Delight Month with the “Rainbow Road Artwork Walk,” on display by June 30, 2021.

Curated in partnership with Allies in Arts, the rainbow-lit art stroll exclusively options the creations of LGBTQIA+ visual artists and spans the Third Avenue Promenade, Santa Monica Area and the Santa Monica Pier.

The artwork walk is a dynamic assortment of murals, photo installations, interactive and multimedia works from more than a dozen innovative artists and artist groups local to Southern California.

Showcased artists include Annie Hong aka Hootnannie whose piece “Wherever Will U Get You” will be on exhibit at Santa Monica Area. Identified by vivid eye-catching whimsical wordplay, Hootnannie’s get the job done challenges modern day art narratives and seeks to voice underrepresented views, educated by their expertise navigating the earth as a queer, gender-nonconforming, initially era Asian American artist.

HAUS OF DéVLIN’s vibrant multi-textured floral-dependent set up “Delight-a-Blooma” will be on exhibit within the Fairmont Resort on Wilshire Blvd as a visual representation of the joyful vitality of Delight.
