Syracuse, N.Y. — Thousands of Central New Yorkers filled Clinton Square into the night on Saturday for the second day of Syracuse’s annual Irish Fest.
As the sun set over downtown at 7:10 p.m., bagpipers marched from the west end of Clinton Square, through the crowd to the front of the stage. Emcee Chow Downey read the names of Central New Yorkers who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks 20 years ago. The musicians then played “Amazing Grace.”
After the tribute, the music and dancing resumed. Here are some photos from Day 2 of Irish Fest:
