Tate Higher School visible arts teacher Jennifer Rodriguez is one of five Florida instructors invited to choose part in an art residency application.
Rodriguez will participate in the Florida Alliance for Arts Instruction State Instructor STAR (Point out Teacher/Artist Residency) program this July on Manasota Key.
The STAR method is created to honor and nourish the artist in the educator by giving 5 general public university educators from Florida with the possibility to go after their inventive perform in the inspiring environment of the prestigious Hermitage Artist Retreat. A few 7 days residencies are made available to two visible artists, two writers, and one particular composer.
A Hermitage residency is a reward of time and house for artists to attend to their work. There is no need to make. It is intensely personalized time for focus and a group of artists from distinctive disciplines with which to share and study.
