SIDNEY — Maine Arts Academy Theater pupils will present their fifth annual 10 Minute Enjoy Festival at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, and Thursday, April 8, at Alumni Hall on the MeAA campus.
“This festival presents us the chance to become initially time playwrights and directors,” stated senior theater student Dorothy Anne Giroux-Pare, according to a news launch from the academy.
The 4 initial plays consist of: “Conversation of the Dying Stars,” prepared by Ava Property and directed by Dorothy Anne Giroux-Pare “Spread Wings,” published by Moxie Joncas and directed by Amara Aiken “Lobster,” composed by Evie Mercier and directed by Ezekiel Cunningham and “3 Days,” written by Dakota LeFebvre and directed by Moxie Joncas.
“It is good to witness the enhancement of scholar playwrights and artists,” claimed senior theater college student Carina Higgins. “We delight ourselves on remaining able to guidance initial get the job done.”
The evenings will cover a range of different genres: comedy, fantasy, and drama. All proceeds aid the MeAA Theater Method.
The evenings will consist of four authentic plays created, directed and done by MeAA Theater learners. The night also will aspect “Spring into Art,” an art sale by MeAA Visible Art college students with pieces ranging from jewelry to canvases. Espresso, tea, and snacks will be offered for visitors and included in the ticket price.
