Rock Bridge senior Abby Thompson won the grand prize at the CoMo 200 Pupil Artwork Competitiveness in Columbia city hall’s historic lobby.

The university student art opposition featured artwork from Thompson and 12 other college student winners: Jannah Akorjia, Ingrid Stroessner, Sheza Shahid, Addie Stroessner, Jackson Subject, Connor Make a difference, Keeley Fizer, Cordelia Maltsbarger, Kylie Greer, Madison Diel, Landon Viers and Elizabeth Henderson.

Their artwork centered on the theme of beating struggle all through Columbia’s 200-year background. Mayor Brian Treece identified the learners Tuesday evening at the art competitors hosted by the Mayor’s Bicentennial Undertaking Drive.

“In a year that we’re celebrating Columbia’s previous, I’m so thrilled about how brilliant our upcoming is,” Treece stated.
