The annual Flavor of Colorado pageant returned to Denver about Labor Day weekend, attracting countless numbers of attendees to consider portion in the new, much larger and far more socially distanced celebration.
This year, rather than holding the competition in Civic Center Park, dozens of vendors lined the entirety of 16th Street Shopping mall. This new structure is meant to have interaction additional of the local community, explained Sharon Alton with the Downtown Denver Partnership.
This year’s festival also comes soon after Style of Colorado was pressured to terminate in 2020 thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival has been a Denver community staple for the past 38 decades, with over 500,000 people attending each year.

“Connection and community are additional vital now than ever, and Style will be unfold throughout our urban core as we celebrate the nearby creative imagination, passion and range that are a critically vital element of our region’s fabric and culture,” Alton explained.
From 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday as a result of Monday, far more than 50 vendors are established up down 16th Street from Tremont Location to Arapahoe Street, selling art, crafts, present items, home furnishings, jewelry, imports and a lot more.
At Arapahoe Road, Food stuff Truck Row commences with 10 unique vans ranging from ice cream to warm puppies to sushi.
Yet another dozen foods sellers are established up within two fenced-off parts in Skyline Park, separated by the 16th Avenue Shopping mall. In addition to the vendors, these regions element are living songs, bars and kid exercise zones with bouncy houses and trampolines.


Numerous places to eat along the mall are also supplying unique Flavor of Colorado menus above the weekend, such as Philadelphia Filly, Aloy Present day Thai, Brooklyn’s Best Pizza, 5280 Burger Bar and Challenging Rock Café.

The celebration carries on Monday until 7:30 p.m. The pageant is absolutely free to enter and open to all ages. Unvaccinated attendees are questioned to put on experience coverings and practice social distancing.
The Cherry Creek Arts pageant is also concluding Monday, that includes artwork, tunes and food items at the Cherry Creek Browsing Centre.
