WHAM courses involve pictures, glass artwork

WHAM Artwork Heart, 16560 N. Dysart Road, will host:

• Photography 101 is from 10 a.m. to midday April 17. This is a rookie course for those people with a digital digicam that you never know how to work it. Study what program can be used for enhancing your images. Free for users, $10 for non-members.

• “Frit Portray,” also recognised as “powder painting,” is a little recognised glass strategy the place the artist employs powdered glass (called “frit”) of lots of colours to build photos which are then kiln-fired.

Study about it through this system from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 24. Students will make an 6-by-12-style on a white glass history. Tuition is $50, and bundled all glass and supplies.

• Metropolis Scape (Scratch Artwork w/Pastels) is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 24. Produce a “scratch art” masterpiece with Colene Clark in this inventive way to paint using pastels, acylics and specialty equipment like exacto knives and several scratch art resources.

Charge is  $35 per course. Materials offered for $5 a kit, and college students are welcome to deliver very own supplies.

 

• The following kids portray and drawing course is Girl Bug – acrylic painting from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. April 27. Thes classes are developed to help develop art in children’s enhancement across a lot of domains, physical, social, cognitive, emotional, creativity and experimentation growth.
