Wintergreen Arts Middle will host a Summer time Arts Scholar Showcase throughout the month of August.
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Wintergreen Arts Center will host a Summer time Arts University student Showcase through the thirty day period of August. With choices from Artwork with Coronary heart, to Unicorn Camp, Superheroes Camp, Images Camp, Online video Creation Camp and a great deal a lot more, around 325 small children participated in 19 distinctive summer months arts camps at a few distinct destinations this calendar year.
“Our learners are creating a whirlwind of enjoyable and inspiration this summer season,” reported Shaye McHatten, Wintergreen’s head summer season arts instructor. “We additional additional camps, instructors, and ideas to help each student specific their individuality through the arts. Wintergreen will work in partnership with the Presque Isle Recreation & Parks Office and the Presque Isle Housing Authority to deliver affordable, superior high-quality summertime arts programming offered to all neighborhood youth. Artwork with Heart is held in the Birch Avenue Community and Summer time Artwork at the Rec is held at the Sargent Family Group Middle. Digital and visual arts camps are held through the day at Wintergreen’s new room at the Aroostook Centre Mall.
Wintergreen’s programming is also funded in part by grants from the Maine Community Foundation, Onion Foundation, and the Maine Arts Commission, an impartial point out company supported by the Nationwide Endowment for the Arts.
