Presently on perspective until June 18th, 2022 at Rundgaenger Gallery in Frankfurt, Germany is the group exhibition, “XY,” curated by Saša Bogojev.
“XY” features artists that are associates of possibly Generation X or the succeeding, Era Y. With the two of those people teams owning their daily life being strongly impacted by the digital know-how, desktops, the Internet, and/or social media, the presentation conceptualized and curated by Saša Bogojev, examines the various venues by way of which these influences seep into their distinctive studio techniques.
Both escalating up with personal computer screens as part of their day to day daily life or just witnessing the changes conditioned by the rapid enhancement of electronic technologies, these artists ultimately found themself incorporating it into their processes in a selection of ways. Whether working with some form of existing electronic aesthetics, employing the technical options as a resource, source of inspiration, or compositional/aesthetic framework, or just staying encouraged by its outcomes on society, the exhibition shows various paths primary from the display to the gallery wall.
