Youth art show options will work motivated by Massive Browse variety ‘Circe’

The coronavirus pandemic made it tough for the Pennyroyal Arts Council to put on its annual exhibit of youth art in the Hopkinsville Neighborhood College or university auditorium gallery. But the observance of Youth Artwork Thirty day period wasn’t canceled this calendar year — it just moved on the internet. 

An online show — showcasing drawings, watercolors, collages and images from community, personal and house-college students in elementary, middle and large university — will be readily available to watch by way of April 30. The Hopkinsville Kiwanis Club sponsors the show this yr. 

“In conjunction with this year’s Huge Browse choice ‘Circe’ by Madeline Miller, the portal is showcasing the novel with scholar artwork relating to the guide,” the arts council’s education and learning coordinator, Molly Campbell, said in a news release. “Each piece gives the viewer perception into the creativity and interpretation of the younger artists, as nicely as an appreciation of their hard do the job.”

Campbell recommended academics for aiding the arts council change to a various format this calendar year.
