Ysleta ISD Visible Arts Courses dominate Congressional Art Awards

With a podium sweep of the 2021 Congressional Artwork Competitors, and five other folks placing in the Best 10, the Ysleta ISD Visual Arts packages again proved to be the types to defeat this year.

“The 2021 Congressional Artwork Awards contest was just yet another case in point of their amazing accomplishment,” Ysleta ISD officials shared.  “YISD has gained 13 of the last 14 several years in this contest, and this year’s success and achievement are astounding.”

Of the over 100 entries into this contest, YISD educational facilities took 8 of the prime 10 finalist positions and won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Congresswoman Veronica Escobar hosted a digital awards ceremony to announce the 2021 Congressional Art Opposition winners for Texas’ 16th Congressional District superior school pupils. Brissa Cervantes, a senior at Riverside Significant School, gained the competitiveness with her piece titled “Immigration,” which will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol Making for 1 yr.
