The Des Moines Arts Festival announced winners in its Juried Visual Art Fair opposition Sunday morning.
The Des Moines Arts Competition brings alongside one another visual artwork, tunes, movie and inventive routines. Artists also set up booths to exhibit and sell their creations in the event’s juried artwork truthful opposition. In all, 160 artists from 35 states in disciplines like ceramics, electronic drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, metalworks, portray, printmaking, sculpture and wood were chosen for the opposition.

Juror awards were also provided to:

Glenn Woods and Keith Herbrand, of Palm Harbor, Florida, ceramics makers, were given the Greatest Booth award.

The occasion marked the greatest competition in Des Moines since the pandemic commenced very last calendar year.
Stephen King, the festival’s executive director, reported in a statement Sunday morning that attendance had been powerful and “on-par with pre-pandemic turnout.”
