SAN ANGELO — San Angelo has been given a 10-yr designation as the Visual Arts Money of Texas by Governor Greg Abbott.
The San Angelo Convention and Visitors Bureau received term that Gov. Abbott signed the designation on June 14, 2021 in Austin.
Diann Bayes, Vice President of the Conference and Visitors Bureau, explained they attained out to Drew Darby’s office environment and Senator Perry’s office in May perhaps 2019 to uncover out the approach of trying to get the designation.
