The West Facet is established for some lively aesthetic updates, many thanks to a new city venture.

San Antonio’s Arts & Culture and General public Functions departments have introduced a capital-enhancement undertaking that aims to maximize accessibility concerning downtown and San Antonio’s historic Westside, CultureMap experiences. Highlights will involve new accumulating spaces, bicycle lanes, pedestrian lights and widened sidewalks. &#13

The challenge kicked off Tuesday with the painting of the Guadalupe Street Bridge’s underpass columns, in accordance to CultureMap. San Antonio artist Rubio picked out the lively palette, which attracts on colours uncovered in the West Side’s legendary Virgin of Guadalupe statue.&#13

At first intended to concentrate on the Commerce Street Bridge corridor, the advancements will also involve the western boundary of the Zona Cultural District, which contains historic destinations amongst downtown’s Main Plaza and North Salado Road. &#13
